Designer, HTML'r, and Dad. I really enjoy the ability to keep up with my industry in one single place. Lets keep the party going and support one another.
Dave over here really solve those internet problems we would all love to fix. 💯😎🫠
Going to start an online community called "Differnet" so when I spell "different" wrong I can play it off like I meant to do it and I won't look like an idiot anymore.

Kind of amazing to think about how different the world might be today if PayPal had just... failed early on and shut down. You can trace so much nonsense today back to PayPal getting bailed out by eBay.

In @figma.com Design you can easily cut up a shape with a path using the shape builder tool, without moving over to draw! 🤯

Just draw the path you want to use to "Cut." Just select your object and path and press "M," and click your regions.

Step 2: businesses pass along tariff expenses to consumers as higher prices
Step 3: have courts reject your tariff authority
Step 4: gov’t refunds collected tariffs to the businesses (not the consumers)

we should for sure be doing stuff like this
behold the "HTML bomb"

It's a counterattack for AI companies that persistently scrape and rescrape your web site, even when you tell them not to

when a scraper grabs it, it becomes a 10-gig HTML page and 💣 goes the scraper

New meyerweb post! I crawled down a #CSS hole to find where it ended. The results were as mind-bending as I could’ve hoped, even though I was sort of hoping they wouldn’t be. Come see what happens to browser engines when you literally push them to infinite lengths! meyerweb.com/eric/thought...

Hmmmmmm.... So basically content creators are just driving the market with endless videos? This seems surprising.
If you were to believe what you see our there, *everyone* is using AI to vibe code all day long...

Turns out, the majority of devs aren't even using it at all???

Oh wow.... Looks like I need to join the discord. I score pretty well on all the YouTube cmquestions. So I would love to see which card layout I fall into. #contextmattwrs
I've long thought that HTML is harder than people give it credit for, and to see if I was right, I challenged my Discord community to write the HTML for a very simple card component, and I think they helped me prove my point 😊

When creating PDFs, avoid using "Print to PDF." A screen reader user may still be able to access the text of PDFs created this way, but heading structure, alternative text, and any other tag structure will be lost. Using "Save As" or "Export" can preserve these tags.

Hahahha. I saw that demo too.
I love CSS folks. They are soldiers of joy and delight. The world is burning and AI debates have people at each others throats and CSS peeps keep being like “check out this dancing turtle I made out of divs 🥰”
