UCP convention crowd: LOUD BOOS
Danielle Smith tried to sell her federal-Alberta energy deal to the UCP convention crowd: tepid applause.
She told them that this proved Canada can work well for Alberta’s interests: loud boos.

This ain’t a base that wants Smith to work with a Liberal PM on a better industrial carbon tax.

Just watched an excellent bio on Jarcinda Ardene ex Prime Minister of New Zealand. She passed strict gun laws, legalized abortion and steered the country through covid. The vitriol from the press and opposition was horrendous. She quit after 5 years. Why wld anyone with integrity run for office?

No support for renewable projects?
Like the new North Coast Transmission Line.
Iqaluit Nukkiksautiit Hydro Project.
Clean grid connections in the MOU.
Support for the East Coast wind farms.
Support for Wind West.
Support for grid storage.
He has clearly supported more clean projects than dirty ones.
Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

Reading all the negative sky is falling articles about the MOU with Alberta. However, not one offers any concrete solutions. Not one of us could deal with the multitude of issues PM Carney is managing. Negatively sells, apparently positivity, not so much. Quite a comment on human nature

In this age of social media, before we post or comment, it could be much more positive if we remember the acronym for THINK. Is it true, helpful, inspiring, necessary, or kind. It will go a long way to reducing the effects of doom scrolling and might even lower stress levels. I'm just saying.
