Food pantries in Lane County, Oregon, are asking for more donations as they prepare for a potential lapse of SNAP benefits next month.
Food for Lane County asks for donations ahead of potential SNAP delays
Around 75,000 people in Lane County use the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to help pay for groceries. Those benefits are supposed to be distributed between the first and ninth day of each month.

The strength and courage of this little boy is staggering! Wishing the best for Romchyk!
The blue mask remains a memory. Romchyk Oleksiv, who suffered 45% burns to his body and lost his mother as a result of a russian missile attack on Vinnytsia, finally got his compression garment off.
The boy has undergone almost 30 surgeries in Germany. He spent more than 100 days in intensive care.
