I was also a silly goose and did not track any of my gardening time over the spring, summer and autumn where I took so many steps every day. I will absolutely be logging steps taken out there this year for the stretch to Rivendell. Hobbits love gardens.

I intended to complete this stretch in a year, but Covid back in August and then recovery threw me off track for a few months so 1.5 years it is. 🫡

But generating an image via an AI algorithm that scrapes the art of actual artists and then taking that image and selling prints of it is not the work of an artist. YOU did not create anything, a program took your idea and then scraped the hard work of others to create an image FOR you.

To be clear, using AI is fine, it can indeed be useful in artistic pursuits even. There are plenty of artists playing and experimenting with it these days. It's a neat development in technology and opens all kinds of new roads.
