"According to insiders, the FBI is preparing to label trans people as "violent extremists". This news came out moments before a new policy proposal by the Heritage Foundation, the organization behind Project 2025, was released. This policy would label trans people and their allies as "domestic terrorists". The document uses the murder of Charlie Kirk as a reason to designate "trans-ideology-inspired violent extremism" as a domestic terrorism threat category and to "use the full toolkit of the FBI to prevent future attacks inspired by the ideology." After blaming 50% of school shootings since 2015 on it, the proposal goes on to define "trans-ideology-inspired violent extremism" as: - Claims of trans people's "right to exist" - Lack of respect for genetic realities - Use of terminology such as: cisgender, misgendering, trans genocide... Make sure the trans people in your life are safe.

Post thread by ayeforscotland and everentropy reads: As we see a barrage of evil executive orders come in, they are not immediately enforceable and will takes months or years to implement. That's still not great, but don't let these pile up to the point of hopelessness. Take a breath, and look community leaders who will fight it every step of the way. Reminder that when Trump was in office before a lot of his orders got overturned or held up in lower courts for long enough that they became irrelevant. It also does not mean they will be enforced. Stand with your community where you can. The fight is not over. Do not obey in advance. Last sentence above is most important. Tyranny requires people to shut up and fall in line. Do not obey in advance.

Note that a few Dems voted in favor of the bill or chose to simply sit this one out."

Who wants to bet that child regret is actually way higher because people are ashamed to admit it in studies? Before you come at me for hating kids - no I don't. I just know that parenting is fucking hard and not everyone is cut out for it.
