My pleasure and thank you for writing it. Such a fascinating and brutal subject. As someone born in the 70’s the final chapters of the book, Beirut, I remember vividly from the news in the early 80’s growing up. And plane hijackings, although less common, were still scary to an impressionable kid

The shirt I would have would either be Hoddle’s 83/84 goal against Watford (that Le Coq Sportif shirt was a belter too) or Hoddle’s last goal for Spurs v Oxford ‘87 (again that Hummel shirt was stunning).

They were really great in Cardiff. I could go to that gig over and over again and not tire of it. Great songs superbly played.

Yeah I’d have no problem with us being more direct especially as we appear to be unable to play through midfield. Who’d have thought when Romero was forced out in the warm up it would be his passing that would be the bigger miss today than his defending
