like, City doesn't get much focus in CinGray as far as I can tell (she's only in like 20% of the collabs & popups) so this feels so random??? in the game, City's final goal is the Japan Cup so this might be her last race in the anime as well, so is this an attempt to address her whole deal???

I also wonder, when rival girls appear in a career story, what are their nonplayer trainers like? I usually assume that they don't have a dedicated trainer (at least not one as entrenched as the player standin), so looking at the differences between that appearance and their career is interesting...

I really like this one because one of the things I find really interesting is the trainer / trainee relationship & expectations... a trainer's job changes depending on their trainee and it's another avenue we can get acquainted with their character, and I think that's really cool!!!

I also found this thing, which I actually really really want, but not only are these types of figures hard to find but theyre also from BLIND BOXES so if you CAN find a listing it's absurdly expensive for a guaranteed character...
