Here's a thing: Blake Treinen has been losing P in each of LA's last 5 losses.
Dating back to 1912, this is a first. 13 times, one pitcher has worn four of his team's losses in a row. (Most recently: 1994 Tim Belcher, Tigers). But never five!

Also, if the Giants stay on turn and there’s no rainouts, Justin Verlander would get the home opener April 4 vs. Seattle. That’s a pretty compelling way to bring baseball back to 24 Willie Mays Plaza.
