A nice walk along the Fortune Lake parkway yesterday. Many varieties of wild flowers such as these asters which were popular with local worker bees.

Some of the dahlias I planted beside a floor to ceiling window have flowers that are facing the window (and away from the sun) giving a nice view when I open the blinds. Thank you mother nature! 👍😀

Dinner plate dahlia flower. I still find it amazing that a bulb the size of a medium potato produces a plant 5 feet tall with lots of huge flowers!
