They have lefse where I live; a derivation of tattie scones but much thinner. They work at a pinch, but not as good as ours.

When I went back home, my Dad would always make me a “heart attack” breakfast: Danish bacon, fried eggs, tattie scones, and black pudding. It was rerr!

I’ve never eaten a deep-fried Mars bar, but I did have deep-fried pizza as a kid. Ironically, it came from a chip shop managed by Italian immigrants. Their ancestors would’ve cursed them 😆

I’m sure he would. I’m an immigrant here, born & raised in Scotland, and I’m also seriously considering a move back home if this all goes pear-shaped.

I live in North Dakota, about an hour’s drive from the border. We see Canadians shopping here regularly but, unfortunately, I think that’ll end soon. I have a paternal uncle in Ontario, so I may ask him for asylum before these four years are over.
