RTY also tracked S&P 600, so it looks like overall small cap underperformance. There was also the huge diff between SPX vs. equal weight.
The weak breadth / flight to mega-caps has me worried. I'm interested to see where VIX levels out given the increasing concentration.

Started to see the pressure in 2024 and it has picked up way more in 2025

I'm seeing this too. It feels grim in security... we've accumulated so much knowledge on risks + mitigations, but the business interest is steamrolling everything right now

I was curious about whether this might end up as an implied directive to governors to use their own pardon power on the state-level convictions, but it looks like it can't/won't happen...
- AZ has a D governor (Hobbs)
- GA has a R governor, but the governor doesn't have pardon power

In addition to the Georgia cases, there's also one charged in convicted in AZ (Lorraine Pelligrino) azmirror.com/briefs/first...
First guilty plea in AZ fake elector case comes from GOP activist Lorraine Pellegrino | Arizona Mirror
Lorraine Pellegrino, who previously served as the president of Ahwatukee Republican Women, entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of filing a false instrument

In other words, I see this more like the median D senator has pretty bad decision-making but can be whipped into shape by correct pressure from the base / constituents / leadership

But historically we see the same pattern for the GOP too right? McCain, Cheney, Paul etc. being able to flout the base/caucus/whip to take risky votes on personal principles
Unfortunately the Dem cavers' principles have no place in the Trump 2025 era ("bipartisanship", "good-faith", etc.)

Haven't seen a statement from Hassan but the reporting has her as one of the negotiators so I expect a yes (plus NH dem delegation is undefeated at doing the wrong thing) www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
Senate reaches deal on ending the shutdown
Democrats are coalescing around a bipartisan agreement to fund the government.

my conspiracy theory is that they peeled off < 8 but both the dem senators + Thune are trying to force the question to get some fence-sitters to commit (and I suspect it will work)
