First day of the #penstore :3 got sennelier acrylic paint. I think it’s cadmium red. They don’t seem to have this size on the site so I’m presuming that this tube cost around $1.
Two photos the top one is an open lid of an advent calendar with a tube of paint under it. The other photo is of the same tube and a painted red apple with black line art and a with dot to make the apple look glossy.

Woop! Will be opening up an art tool advent calendar from #penstore this year too! Hoping to have more time this year to actually do more than just an eye each day but we’ll see. I’m studying right now so won’t know until then how much time I will have. Am also working on a comic right now. :3

Woop! The #penstore advent calendar also had a 20% coupon that I took advantage off and bought Xmas gifts for me and my sibling. XD; This is my gift to myself. It arrived today. :) (ordered on the 23rd) hoho, I’m gonna paint the characters from my comics when the programming classes are finished. :)

Did a quick sketch of Rou’s cottage. One of the main characters in one of the comics that I’m working on. :3
A cottage with a secret room, lots of book cases and the kitchen is used to cook food and for potion making. It’s a pretty fancy cottage as it has a water closet which is a bit uncommon in this world but it’s getting more common with indoor plumbing, at least for the rich people.

The last day of the #Penstore advent calendar! Happy Holidays everyone! …if I remember next year (or can afford it, I will hopefully be studying full time next year) I will be getting this advent calendar again. I thought it was worth it. :3

Wooop! After today it’s only one more day left of the #Penstore advent calendar. …Today it’s a brush. Would’ve been nice to get that before all the water and acrylic paints…well. Sure I have brushes. But not everyone do. Used the cobalt blue paint from Zig Kuretake again. :3

Day 22 of the #Penstore advent calendar. :3 …another sharpie. This one has a thick nib…Noticed while drawing the first heart that the marker might be like a posca and tried on a black paper as well. XD;

Rou As a child, Arounetti enjoyed learning and playing with magic. The adults in their life always told them that they had a gift for the art of Magic. Which made them more inclined to learn even more about the subject. When they were a preteen they started an apprenticeship with a witch in the next village over. Magic had become their whole life. They had their whole life planned out as a village witch. However, when their cousin's parents died in a monster attack, she decided to move to the continent of Snowbound to join the monster hunter’s association. Arounetti followed her, which set them on a new harsher path. Now, they don’t know if they would’ve made the same choices... Zalt Zalt enjoyed music and adventure as a kid. He had a hard time sitting still and always had questions about everything. Some adults found him very taxing. At the age of 12, he had a big argument with his parents and ran away from home. He traveled the world and lived as a street performer. When he was 18, he ended up in the Kingdom of Nordalunda, where he was employed as a messenger for the Royal Postal Service. He still travels the world as a messenger and believes that he is happy with his life.

Oops, yesterday was day 17 of the #Penstore advent calendar and apparently I forgot to post yesterday (did open and paint, just forgot to post XD;). You’ll get yesterdays photos today and todays photos tonight (if I remember XD;) anyway. Got a zig kuretake aquarelle tin today. X3 love it.

Day 14 in the #Penstore advent calendar. Only 10 days left! Time flies. ^^;; …anyway. I’ve not seen this brand before. I like it.

Today in the #Penstore advent calendar was a hot pink kneaded eraser. I have one of those already…somewhere…I don’t really use them. XD;; I never know where to store them so they don’t get full of cat hair. ^^;;

Today I got a colored graphite stick pencil from the #Penstore advent calendar. I like it. I think that so far my favorites have been this pencil, the Kakashi pen and the blue acrylic paint. Oh, and the red water color in a tin. I did like that one too. The artline marker brush was fine too.

Today in the #Penstore advent calendar I got a tiny canvas…I have only used a canvas once before. Around 30 years ago. XD; …I did not like the experience then and I didn’t like it this time either. Water dont react like I want it to. XD;; …I prefer watercolor paper.

Today in the #Penstore advent calendar I got a kuretake marker. A “Zig clean color real brush” I’ve tried kuretake brushes before (for calligraphy) but not these. It was a very unfortunate color though. (073 - vanilla)

Done some quick worldbuilding today. Nordalund is the kingdom where the story will takes place. I’m not sure of the name yet but didn’t want to use “unnamed” to write about it. XD;;

Lingon The Aristocracy of Lingon is located in the southwest parts of the Snowbound continent. This was the country that first rose up against the Dragons and formed The Union to have the dragons removed from the world. They are now the leading force against the Monsters. They are also boasting the largest population on the continent. Nordalund The Kingdom of Nordalund is the largest nation on the continent of Snowbound, spanning from its central regions to the northernmost peninsula. Despite its large area, Nordalund is not the most populous country on the continent, as the harsh environment renders much of its territory uninhabitable. This is one of few independent countries that are not a part of The Union.
