I have low visibility here on Bluesky so I tend to spend time on X, the Demon Site. Like Tracy Chapman, gimme one reason to stay here… I drew this in response to the No Kings rally. I really like the idea of the Inflata.

Many people have called me and say, "Sir, please come to the men's finals at the US Open. You will be adulated and cheered. No, Sir. No one would ever boo you. You are the most popular, smartest, handsomest tennis aficionado to ever grace the stands in Forest Hills"

A very satisfying fantasy. There hasn’t been a great wheelchair scene like this since Richard Widmark tossed the lady down the stairs.

Gee, and we were so close to celebrating the Big 250! It was unimaginable. And he’s such a putz! Semi literate, intellectually incurious, off the charts narcissist, pathological liar… not a single redeeming quality.

Senator Lankford wasn't always like this. Before becoming a MAGA Pod Person, he was an actual Republican. Wonder what he sees when he looks in the mirror.

Mr. Farage, meet Mr. Gingrich. Now, both of you, go feck yourselves.

Message in a bottle.
I’ve been bounced from X. Again. They didn’t like my response to VP Vance. I live in the state of Oregon but spend a lot of time in a state of furious anger. I’m as mad as hell…

Any bids for repurposing it? After all, it has so much going for it. Burmese pythons. Alligators. Right wing militia members. Even Carl Hiaasen couldn’t have imagined a detention facility in the Everglades.

I'm reading Hotel Ukraine, the latest and, sadly, last Arkady Renko Book by Martin Cruz Smith. The protagonist, like the writer, has Parkinson's. Smith has had it for about 30 years. I've enjoyed every book in the series, beginning with "Gorky Park."

It is undeniable and the best argument against the Goldwater Principle. Bandy Lee’s important book was published 8 years ago, causing quite a fuss. Dr. Lee was chastised and punished by the APA for violating the rule. Trump is that obvious. A trained professional would peg him a Mali

This concerns me. It also reminds me of a memorable line from that Great American, Kinky Friedman who said he’d never say fuck in front of a C-H-I-L-D.

We took the dogs and went to Clear Lake today. Incredible. We hiked around the lake. Next time, we'll take out a boat.

I'M INVISIBLE HERE. If, by chance, you see this:

I live in Silverton, Oregon. Cute place. We have a nice hospital. With the passing of the BBB, the hospital is now at risk, based on its financials. Healthcare is big business. It's just an example how the BBB will affect everyone.

What’s more disturbing is that nothing will happen. Pam Blondie is not about to go after Kanine Killing Kristi.

We can only hope for a scene out of a Carl Hiaasen book on Tuesday.

The turnout in Salem, Oregon was huge, well over a thousand. It stretched further, taking up the sidewalk another block east and another west. It was joyful and encouraging.
