Yes anding this because while that is certainly the primary goal, a secondary goal is a cushy Rittenhouse/Riley Gaines style job for her and her daughter to get paid 6 figures to go on TV shows and talk at cpac about how they were victimized by wokeness. It's also pretty clearly a cash grab
i’m genuinely so convinced all of this has been a planned operation by the student and her mother (who is commenting on this publicly, and associated closely with the republican party), and big far right propaganda account going all in on it. this is designed to oust trans people from public life

Feeling unbelievably lucky to have been awarded one of the three (!) DECRAs given to education scholars in this round. I put a lot of hard work into this and I'm looking forward to digging into the nuances of social media sexuality education for queer youth 🌈🎓

About the same. I have not missed Twitter at all and the improvement to my mental health only makes me wish I had left sooner. There has been zero negative effects to deleting my account there and countless positives.
I quit the former Twitter two years ago this week, and I am here to tell you that my online life got a lot better for having left it. In two years I've not been tempted to go back, and I haven't felt any penalty in either career or community for not being there. It's nice to be here and not there.
