i'm finally playing through Shadows of the Erdtree for the second time. This time i'm going at it with my faith/strength build and man... I really have hit that point with Souls games where if I'm not gimping myself with something like fist weapons that I just blast through these games.

I find it really dumb that people are mad that there are going to be federation NPCs in Metroid Prime 4 when the major villains whole thing is that he hates specifically the federation.
If the federation wasn't more involved in Prime 4 then what the fuck would Sylux even be there for.

Was thinking about the idea of them bringing Sonia Belmont back to the Castlevania series by placing her in that 400 year gap in-between Leon and Trevor's points in the timeline. They could do some easy adjustments to her story too in order for it to still work out.

Charging extra for those New Horizons upgrades and the new update just being free happy home designer + a non-restricted mode is the most bottom of the barrel stuff that proves to me more and more that team at Nintendo gives so little care to the AC franchise at this point.

I finally beat Final Fantasy 8 for the first time last night. Man what an interesting but ungodly messy game. The story feels like it's moving a mile a minute without giving time to anything and all the CGI scenes are fucking immaculate. But the actual gameplay is the breaking point.

Over time, with pokemon, especially as the character customization got bigger, I feel like I always see people focus on the trainers/humans more than the actual Pokemon.
Like the vast majority of what I see or heard about ScaVio, and now Legends ZA barely goes over the pokemon now.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, DK follows objects of interest with his eyes. However, he has an incredibly short attention span. Whenever a new object enters his vision, his attention is drawn to it instead. If many objects are moving, he will be distracted by each new one.

New Kirby Air Riders looks so good.
Everything about it evoked so much of the kind of weirdness and uniqueness that Air Ride had back in the day.
It makes me really hope that Kirby going forward after this looks to the game as inspiration for a lot of world building and other things.

I decided to sit down and beat all of Dark Souls 3 again, DLC and all.
It's still a truly amazing game. Makes me really hope FromSoft definitely goes back to a more focused level design than Elden Ring's open world.
I can definitely feel that I have gotten way better at these games.

Honestly, the Nightreign solo rune change might be a bit too much. Like I am sitting over here reaching the max level really easily.
Like, I don't even know how they would rebalance it. It just feels way too easy to get souls in comparison to multiplayer it feels like.

Nightreign is a game for people who really explored and learned a lot of the things in Elden Ring, which is perfect for me.
It's heavily filtering a lot of people who didn't really do that and just kind of followed guides or stuck with what was considered OP noob trap items.

I'm finally playing CrossCode and man this is the kind of game I love so much.
I kept putting it off until it got out of early access, and then after that other games just kept coming out. School and work also just kept getting in the way because I wanted to devote my full attention to it.

Games like Dragon's Dogma 2 and Nier Automata are very interesting to me.
Both end up making me feel like replaying them goes against what their endings are going for. Since they have to do with ending repeating cycle stuff. Replaying them just feels cruel to the characters I grew to like.
