Before there was the El Capitan on Hollywood Boulevard, there was an El Capitan on Vine Street. The top pic shows a variety show there in 1948.
The venue opened in 1927 as the Hollywood Playhouse, changing names over the years, eventually becoming The Palace and now Avalon.

Blowing boats out of the water they suspect of ferrying drugs, while also giving pardons to known drug dealers and letting their families into America. The logic of this regime makes no sense unless you follow the money. I suspect Venezuela can’t pay what’s being asked. Just a hunch.
