My feeling is that since they retitled Devil’s Crush to Dragon’s Fury it’s clearly intended that Dragon’s Revenge is a follow-up (implied also by “revenge”)

I imagine it wasn’t licensed but OTOH Technosoft developeed and published Devils Crush MD so there was some kind of shenanigans going on already with the licensing I imagine

I mean, aside from being released in the 90s the same is true of Alien Crush Returns! That said I’m not trying to win an argument, I just think it’s interesting
I’m sure there must be other examples of Japanese games that got western sequels or sequels just for the west by different teams!

Well I just meant generally but my point is that we have to get kind of specific to say a game isn’t a sequel if it’s developed by a different team

I think the point of his performance is its buffoonery. A naturalistic performance it is not. It’s IMO enjoyable in that way. Plus we got the new euphemism “Christmas Adventurers” from this movie.👌 I clearly like it more than you do but less than the “instant Oscar frontrunner” crowd.
