I just heard you say no one in DC responded to hateful dialog among young Republicans. Actually, JD Vance said he wouldn't "join the pearl clutching" over it.

I don't understand why Trump's claim that he told Pete Hegseth a year before 9//11 that bin Laden was a threat wasn't viewed as cognitive slippage. Hegseth was a college student at the time.

Grateful someone finally did some serious analysis of Free Press and Bari Weiss. Even before she started FP, she was on some rampage over the horror that wealthy white kids in expensive prep schools were being forced to waste their time learning about racism. From her article=

Appreciate your focus on Dershowitz. Dershowitz's attitude towards young women started long before he met Epstein. Glad to see it's finally getting attention.

And much under-appreciated Jon Hassler.

David Solomon is the CEO of Goldman Sachs, not the chief economist.

Why did Trump in 2000 think Epstein, who had no involvement in any service industry, was hiring away underage female HS students from Mar a Lago spa? Why would someone whose only business was financial investment hire underage girls? And then Trump says this in 2002.

So demeaning to the pilots. He's hiding behind them like he exploits everyone. We all know they did their job admirably. The only question is concerning whether the overall goal of destroying nuclear capacity of Iran was accomplished and that's an intelligence/policy issue, not pilot issue.

Trivializing anti-semitism in some cheap pro-active way of defending your position is anti-semitic. Being against a war with Iraq is not. If you're against the war, fine, own it, but don't start off by blaming the Jews, many, or most of whom, probably are also against it.

No problem with featuring Galloway but I regret no conversation about WHY young white men would be particularly suffering, as he claims. Obviously, objectively they don't seem like the most downtrodden, so some rationale would have been very helpful. Otherwise, looks like just losing status.

He means other people's grandkids. His will get at least 30 from all his family's gained from this corruption as president.

Trump cleverly bombards us with so many horrific developments that we have to engage in triage to decide when to respond, but we shouldn't reach point that illegally removing someone with no due process gets ignored.

Yes, but who aside from those two who benefitted would decide their vote based on those two getting money? I can't help but think it probably actually irked people.

I would't take it for free, but if I were in dire economic situation and needed a reliable car to get me to paying job, I'd take it. Lots of variables in real life.

I can often be obtuse, but I still don't understand how a couple of people getting $1million dollars from Musk was supposed to sway voters.

He did get the job based on his experience for dissembling and outright lying on Fox, so i guess he's delivering on that.

I think if Lutnick's mother-in-law was desperate he might be able to find a spare room for her. nypost.com/2024/12/19/r...
Trump’s commerce pick Howard Lutnick set to buy Bret Baier’s $29M DC château in a potential record-breaking deal
Most recently listed for $28.99 million, Lutnick’s purchase of this grand Foxhall residence could set a new bar for home sales in the District.

There's a reason people hire de-programmers to get their family members out of cults. I'm not certain reaching the cult is worth the effort. I think we should focus on the 10-15% who may have voted for Trump but are open to reason.

Great segment. I just saw a wonderful Anderson Cooper interview of Michael Lewis on his new book on federal workers. It's a critical story that needs to get out ASAP and I hope you will have him on your show.

We all knew Trump was a liar, racist, and documented sexual offender. Even if this guy didn't know his wife would be deported he knew enough.
