A snippet from a dog daycare report: This afternoon, we had a new challenge! I set up some various sized towers of metal cans and rewarded the dogs for any progress that they made. JJ, Eleanor, Rosa, and Banjo were completely unbothered by the noise and even went out of their way to knock the towers over. Two golden retrievers and a liver and white Brittany are interacting with stacked towers of aluminum cans.

Excerpt from a dog daycare report card: Po and Banjo had a lot to say about their friends playing this morning so we spent some time in time outs as well as distractions in the form of wobblers, love and one-on-one playtime with me. I've realized over time (years now? 😯) that they're too smart for their own good and want all the attention and love, but don't always know the best way to express it. They just yell lol. I'm trying to make sure they know I'm "listening" and will give them all the love and playtime they could want, just at the appropriate times and/or when they're being polite.

Today’s obstacle course was the dog version of the game we all played as kids, “The floor is lava!” The course was 6 kuranda beds evenly spaced apart in a line, into the big, purple block, then the orange stairs, up the treehouse, down the slide. Each step was lured with a point and saying “place!” Banjo got a gold medal. She didn’t miss a step! But she also had to be put away for a bit because she kept jumping in and trying to run, or ruin, everyone else’s try…LOL
