it is news to no one that I've been struggling with writing for the last year(s) and a big part of it is that my brain doesn't get insanely horny over these 2d guys the same way anymore

I think you should force yourself to interact with art that's "bad" every so often. read a cringy fanfic. play a tiny game. watch a subpar movie. see an amateur play. experience art that's not "masterpieces" because "bad" art deserves to exist and can sometimes give you more emotion than "good" art
