Getting back to a point where 1.5 is achievable is going to be a nigh on impossible challenge. Ideal in principle, but I see little means or any progress in getting there anytime soon.

This is probably just part of their plan to force more people into using online banking, thus ensuring bigger profits. No extra benefits for customers, though. Especially as branches are being shut at an alarming rate.
