The way I FULLY just assumed Anita Bryant was already dead. Like, I am a professional trans with degrees in queer theory and religious studies and have studied the protests of Anita Bryant, and I 1000% never looked up to see if she was still alive. I hope there is pie and orange juice in hell.

Yesterday was the first time I gave a lecture and the moderator opened the space with one of my poems.

It is hard to put into words the gratitude and the honor it is to have your own words reflected back to you.
