Come for the fraud fighting, stay for the cookies.
I didn't even want the chocolate chip cookie I had after dinner, but I thought about Dr. Oz and powered through it.

Sounds like a good use for a dying mall. Someone can drive around with a poop-scooping, pee-scrubbing Zamboni-esque machine. Frisbee zones, water features, etc. Separate areas for cats with all kinds of climbing options and animated toys to chase. I’m sold.

That is truly amazing, in the worst possible way.

TBH I would have guessed that the job already paid that much, if not more.

I have a feeling her office is tired of me calling them to complain about her continued support for Trump nominees. But what does she think she's gaining by it?? FFS

The ones I saw in ND in the '80s were monochrome. Saw some in Sudbury in '90 that were multi-colored, but the ones I saw a couple weeks ago here in MN were amazingly Technicolor. I live in a town of 25k, so had some light pollution (nothing like NYC of course). Out of town they must have been fab

Try as I might, I cannot get into this one (and I am American and lived in the South for 16 years). Too sweet for a side dish, but not attractive as a dessert. However, if you top sweet potatoes with pecans roasted with a touch of sugar, we can have a conversation.

They had something similar in my high school in (squints and adjusts reading glasses) the 1980s. All it did was put pressure on teachers to inflate grades at the behest of coach and/or parents. FFS

Yikes. Not quite as bad in Faribault, but still a mess. I have to drive to St. Paul for work Monday...but I might ask to WFH if it doesn't get better.

Fun fact: in 1989 my fiance and I invited R.E.M. to our wedding because we were both college radio DJs and we loved the band. They sent us a tour shirt as a gift. It lasted longer than the marriage. 😆 I had to retire the shirt in 2008. (2nd marriage has lasted 29 yrs so far, he also loves R.E.M.)
