The straw in my case was when the prosecutor, demonstrating inference, clapped his hands behind the podium and asked if a potential juror could reasonably say what happened (she saw his arms move and heard the sound and knew how clapping works). She said “No because I didn’t see it.” My jaw dropped.

I had a judge shake his head at me during voir dire while I was on a jury panel. I didn’t realize one of my responsibilities as potential juror was to hold in my contempt for idiocy. Of course I was dismissed in the first round.
