We may have never had such a strong contrast across the Hudson River than Sherrill vs Mamdani. Cuomo got Sherrill level support, conceded within hours, & yet he's running in the general, b/c his voters buy the Islamophobic propaganda his PAC was running, which Fox News gleefully picked up.

Now to Ballot Siberia. Eliminating the unconstitutional County Line undercut a lot of the power of Ballot Siberia, as candidates are now grouped by office, making it far more obvious who is running in a given race. Looking at the ballot, it's pretty hard to claim there wasn't 2 choices in this race.
Cherry Hills Dem Primary ballot. The entire right side is for County Committee, clearly drawn out as a coherent section and not at all confusing or muddled with other races or confusing.

A political sign where the candidate's nickname, "ROB" is huge, his code on the ballot is equally huge, and his last name Menendez is tiny because he's named for his politician father who is a convicted felony for selling his access while in elected office A political sign where the last name "Payne" is very large, the first name and middle initial "Donald M." is the next biggest text and "Jr." Is much smaller. The "Jr." is the only thing distinguishing him from the father whose seat he was anointed to following him his father's death.
