After two brief sessions in the new darkroom, I was disappointed when the enlarger failed on me. However, a little bit of forum sleuthing and a replacement zener diode, we're back in business! Haven't soldered anything in years but didn't make too big of a mess.

I honestly quite enjoy doing housework but nothing satisfies more than ironing my shirts and putting a mirror finish on my shoes.

I had the opportunity to take portraits of a whole group of people at a chateau in Bordeaux - I think they came out pretty neat.

Began my first significant DIY project today - after getting the basement damp issues taken care of, it's time to get rid of the water damaged stuff, rebuild the divider between our space and the neighbor's, and set up some work space for me.

Had my first ever general sedation today for a wisdom tooth removal and the only thing I can compare it to was like a real life video game upgrade interstitial (screen goes dark, sounds of air guns and ratchets, screen comes back up).

Pleating is atrocious but we have made har gow from scratch. The dough is a pain and a half.

Very satisfying to go to an artist gathering and tell people the goofy shit I've been up to and have the response universally be, "That is incredibly cool and I'm very jealous"

Saw our first urban fox while taking the dog for her evening walk - it looked healthy but kept a decent distance from us. Then a rat ran past and it chased after it.
