A year ago, someone in a black Ram 1500 watched as my favorite blue Jeep mug fell of my roof where I mistakenly set it down before driving away. I heard the banging and knew instantly what I had done. I pulled over and hopped out to grab it and watched the ram swerve to hit my beloved mug.

Sometimes I play a game I call 'Five Feather Challenge'
I roll a die to see how many materials to select. Then my kids pick that number of materials at random, a random thread color, and a random hook.
Then I tie whatever I can with them.
I almost never fish the resulting fly. 😂 #flyfishing

This is a surprisingly productive fly year round when trout are being picky up here in some of the northeast rivers. Sometimes simple is all it takes. #flyfishing #flytying
