Had such a desire to go buy stuff this weekend, to just buy anything. A crappy work week plus the social media ads for seasonal crap (embarassing that would affect me). Even when I admitted there is not one thing I need it was still a bit tempting. Watching squirrels on the fence is therapeutic!

I used to work for Health and Environment so I'm biased but they do a lot that Canadians take for granted. There is already too few food and product inspectors, scientists to protect health and the environment, study infectious disease etc. There will be a price to pay for the cuts by some.

Agreed but can we get someone to expedite the process? She really shouldn't have to experience any wait time considering she's a VIP and all.

In Canada we were taught this horrible stuff happened (mostly in the US), it was bad, and phewf, thank God that's over and racism no longer exists! Broke my heart getting older and realizing we were lied to about all of it! Lied to to avoid feeling guilty while others suffer(ed) unsupported!

I always feel like a bit of a ninja going to vote in my riding. A pointless task but I'm stealthy about it. I wonder if the Cons can identify me among them?! I do love how little our election process has changed over time though. Same little pencils and paper ballots! Love it.
