Went to get the bus to church this morning. As I was about 15 minutes early decided to walk a little in the sun. As I got to next stop and checked how long and working out how many stops along the route I was likely to get, a car pulls over and offers me a lift as they though I was running late. 1/2

Scratch Nativity service at City of Edinburgh Methodist Church this morning. Service went well, despite tech failure with minutes to go.
Then Carol singing with Newington Churches Together (the Salvation Army band make all carols sound good).

Ministry is often compared to being a shepherd. Well sometimes the shepherd will spend lots of time dealing with an individual in need, other times it's drop off the food let the sheep sort it out and get on with other jobs they may not see but which before benefit them. Today is the second option.
