I'm more familiar with the one-season wonder from 1994-95 about people from Earth traveling to and trying to make a new home on a distant planet. This clip is from an unrelated but similar series from 1971 where they only produced a feature-length pilot, so they never even get to the new planet.

Starting over wasn't so bad. I hadn't got very far, I now knew how the game mechanics worked, and I got to say hello to the Power of Science Guy AND give Mable the correct answer.

Okay. So this is the first Pokémon game since the original Blue where I got a little ways in, then quit and started over. And it's entirely because this is the worst thing to happen to us Bulbasaur faithful since Sabrina's gym.

This flat-out did not work for me. So I wound up somersaulting my way through Lumiose.
