There must be variation in the amount of microplastics in different people based on habits, diet, location. If you use plastic cookware and eat lots of local food in a place that is most polluted with plastic vs if you live in a remote mountain village and cook with bamboo and cast iron for example.

We can collect tissue samples from people who died of alzheimer‘s or similar symptoms and compare the amount of plastic in their brain with people who died with full cognitive functions. We can also do the same with comparison with cancer victims vs people who died without getting cancer.

I would still try to avoid ingesting plastics. Some tips are: don’t use nonstick pans or plastic cooking utensils, don’t microwave plastic containers, don’t use plastic water bottles or coffee pods.

The key is just don’t flip it. It will be slightly crispy on the bottom and slightly runny on top but I think that tastes better anyway.

Bill Gates supposedly once said if he didn’t hire the best talent from India to work at Microsoft, the next Microsoft would be created in India. So I guess part of it is creating a monopoly so others can’t compete.

That‘s also a good point. People can give fake references too, like coach their family member to pretend to be their boss on a call. Employers have assessments to determine good candidates, they don’t ask for references.

DoorDash does the old trick of price gouging most of the time when they can get away with it, so then later they can pretend to offer a good deal by lowering prices when they need increase sales.

This is very true. I’m not denying that the system is abused. My points can be summed up as: 1) the US does need technically skilled immigrants which is what H1B provides, and 2) these immigrants see the H1B program as a finacial lifeline for their families and a path to citizenship.
