We’ve got less than an inch so far. Not much snow falling, but plenty of wind. Temps below freezing for the high today, so we’re getting a hard freeze. Supposed to be a heavy snow season, so if you shovel, be careful of your back!

And yet, they did it anyway. Seems like maybe the “build a reef” idea was a convenient excuse for dumping tires into the ocean.

Yeah; the whole “bundle together a bunch of tires to start a reef” from the 70s/80s didn’t work. The material used to bundle the tires broke, and the tires keep washing up in Florida and the Caribbean. Plus, the tires are leaky nasty chemicals into the water as they degrade. Unintended consequences.
