Road trip workouts are often sporadically scheduled in between getting from point A to B...But I gotta keep on truckin' Finding fitness parks and/or any kind of bar for pulling and dipping is an essential step when I'm exploring a new area on my Maps app.

All bodyweight work today, outside on the rooftop gym in the brisk 39 degree weather!
-3x12 low bar triceps extensions
-3x10 parallel bar deficit pike push ups
-3x12 decline alt side plank shoulder tap + push ups
-10x20 chest to floor burpees

Today's core/rotational strength circuit:
-3x
10 pull ups + knee tuck


-3x12 hanging windshield wipers
-3x20 kb sit up + OH press (35 lbs)


-5x5 right arm kb windmills + 5 left arm kb windmills (50 lbs)

-3x22 scorpion push ups

Short, sweet and sweaty workout today. Started out with 10 minutes of AMRAP dumbbell stair carries, followed by 5 sets of 20 dumbbell bent over rows. #FitnessSky

Today's workout w/ a 40 lbs weighted vest aside from the pull up sets, which were just bodyweight. But I'll progress to weighted versions next time! #FitnessSky

Muscular endurance workout:
15 minute EMOM:
5 pull ups + 10 push ups
(a total of 55 pull ups and 150 push ups)

10 minute EMOM:
10 chest to floor burpees

Repeat x3:
16-20 db floor skull crushers

Last but not least, a bit of an agility and cardio finisher with some low and high bar up and overs. This really gets. the blood flowing. Stay in control and pace yourself or you might get a bit dizzy! As many reps as possible in 5 minutes. #FitnessSky

Fun with bars, a three part circuit for upper and lower body strength and conditioning. The first set features inverted rows using a pronated grip and starting from a nearly horizontal plane. 3 sets of 12 reps.

I'm learning a lot about developing full body strength in tandem with employing total control and stability. Very important stuff for anyone 40 and over. This straight arm strength gymnastics workout took only 10 minutes, but it's the hardest circuit I've done in a while. #FitnessSky
