I’ve taken up an interesting in doing magic again, but cardistry has been a lot more enjoyable. The social aspect of magic is just annoying when people constantly wanna heckle.

something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

I agree with this statement, I've reached pretty high ranks in other games and splatoon is just really hard. The TTK is insanely fast, mechanics matter here alot than other games, high APM, over 100 variation of maps/weapons, and gear building. At least getting into competitive matches is easy.
