This weekend marked the end of our 2023/24 Season culminating in our New Works Festival. The first of its kind at Arizona Opera, the festival celebrated the swashbuckling action of ZORRO, tender romance of INTIMATE APPAREL, heart wrenching story of THE COPPER QUEEN FILM, and more.

Did you know that volunteer groups have been part of Arizona Opera’s history since the start? What began as the “Opera Dames” in 1973, a support organization founded by six Tucson businesswomen, has evolved into hundreds of supporters today across all our Opera Leagues.

Ryan Glover is an operatic tenor, a yoga teacher, and a poet. Over the past decade, Glover has performed numerous roles in opera, operetta, musical theatre, and oratorio, including eight years as a staff singer with Trinity Cathedral.
