Experienced my first, up close encounter with falconry. I imagine it's a lot like having Gandalf's bird but instead of riding it, you watch it hunt pigeons.

As one in the sandwich generation, managing home, kids and my mom, the rebranding feels like a slap in the face. Like when I saw this sign while waiting with my disabled mother at her drs appt.

Last weekend I participated in #NAMIWalks to bring awareness to mental health support and resources. Nevada ranks last 😑 Ask me how I know.
It's vital that we recondition ourselves to see mental health as a medical disease, not a character flaw. Powering thru is not a substitute for treatment.

Ultimately the tourists simply aren't here and Canadians are not coming to Vegas
