That day, I realized that there is always a way to get things done even when we think there is no way.

I have applied this lesson in my life a lot.

Once, I was struggling to find clients on Upwork, but I never gave up, and in 3 months, I got my first client. After 1 year, I was making 6-figures.

I was shocked, and I rushed back. This time, I started asking anyone who was walking on the street if they knew a plumber.

And one person said he knew one. We went to his home, and he came and fixed the issue.

I rushed to the market and started asking some shop owners if they had a plumber available, but everyone said they were busy.

I came back home and told my father that there was no available plumber. He shouted at me and said, "Go bring a plumber, or never come back home."

The man thought, "I have done my job, it is up to the kid to take it or not"

Kids grew up to realize eating lot of chocolate is not good.

If you want to make real money online, I can't recommend this book enough.

(And if you've read it, do you agree? What other books would you recommend for beginners?)
December 13, 2024 at 12:24 PM
- This book is the one that told me about the hook and how to get other people to read what I've written.

- I got my first client after reading this book, which means it works.

- It is best for beginners who do not know anything about copywriting/persuasive writing.

But the best book on making money I've found is:

"Cash Copy: How to Offer Your Products and Services So Your Prospects Buy Them" by Jeffrey Lant

For a few reasons:

- In the digital world, sales happen online. You need to know how to write.

Yes both Laravel and NextJs are solid for web development.

I think it is part of development. We are not adding any new features just improving the previous ones.

I just read your article. What you think about selling the lifetime licence of a software for a premium instead of a small recurring fee? Then it would be same as info product.

Refactoring happens when there is understanding that code quality is bad.

For me, refactoring translate to improving code quality.

It can be a short project or long project based on how quickly an issue can be solved.

This led me to Next.js, which is a framework of Node.js. And I am considering learning this properly as then I will be able to build full apps from backend to frontend in Node.js.

So my goal over the next 3-6 months is to start building some apps in Next.js and get familiar with the stack.

However, PHP has issues with scaling and running background tasks. I always found myself running these tasks using Node.js, and I loved it.

It is simple and easy to set up.
