The only disagreement I have with this thread is that the reforms are about these particular justices in isolation. They’re on the court because of a systemic failure represented by the Federalist Society specifically and the Republican Party generally.
We don't need massive SCOTUS reform in the abstract. Fixed terms, some small things. But the problem isn't the Court. It's the justices. These six people are so bad, such enemies of the Constitution, they must be removed or otherwise disempowered even if it means things I'd generally rather not do.

New York City went 12 days without a murder in November / December. That's tied for the longest stretch in history, according to the NYPD. As someone who was here when there were 6+ murders per day in this town, it continues to amaze me how safe the place is.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.
