Valve should showcase the power of Steam Machines by making an official Counter-Strike tournament played entirely on them. I have high hopes for the future of BYOC LANs with these and am seriously considering picking one up if it can run CS2 well enough to compete.

Small thread but it's amazing how much a clear headspace and healthier day-to-day routine amounts to so much more impact in Counter-Strike. Just a few days ago after a weekend where I slept the entirety of it, I really couldn't buckle down for my ESEA match on Monday and everything felt off.

Fantastic update, but I feel horrible for the knife and glove investors. Case investing still remains the way to go for the long-term.

Valve has updated CS2 to allow turning 5 covert items (highest weapon quality) into a gold item (knives and gloves), which has sent the economy into a frenzy.

I want to watch one episode of the new King of the Hill season a week, but saying as how I have already seen multiple screenshots of new episodes just floating around, I feel like it's a farce since by 10 weeks I will likely have been exposed to all of the plot points and jokes in images.

I genuinely have little to no hype for PLZA (will probably get it at some point still) but Champions seems to be great and that is what I'm most excited for. 2026 is a long way off and I am hoping that they release it with a good meta intact off the start (Incineroar being in previews is concerning)
