New position for the all-sky camera I built during covid. Project antennas, departing aircraft, moon rising, altocumulus arriving, sunrise beginning. Meanwhile, Einstein@Home calculations to search for weak astrophysical signals from spinning neutron stars (sometimes called pulsars).

Digital FT8 communication with German station DL8YHR on the 10m band, software controlled with the SDR-Control app running on the same cell phone taking the video, from my Arctic research station (just kidding -- it's the Montreal condo in a Canadian blizzard). #radio #snow

One last missing part

I did all the aeronautical and photographical calculations, yet the pilots of this Air Transat Airbus A330 flight TSC399, travelling to Montreal from Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), were flying an altitude about 500ft below what I'd hoped. Better luck next year!
