This is why I think #weekwithoutdriving is so valuable. It's about recognizing that involunary nondrivers exist in every community and trying to understand our mobility needs.

...are part of this too, but just a part. However most transportation advocacy spaces are made up of almost all "choice" nondrivers. Or people who try to use other transportation options but still do drive when it's too inconvenient to take transit, walk or bike. with the extreme divides in wealth..

I think this comes from a couple of different places. One nondrivers are largely invisible in 'legitimate' spaces because of who we are - poor people, black and brown people, immigrants, people with suspended licenses, disabled people, seniors and children/youth. "Choice" nondrivers...
