A lovely pub where my mam lives is asking for donations of unwanted Christmas baubles so an awesome display they did this year can be even better next year. I’ve managed to find 5 bags full to give to them! I’ll be sad to see some go but also excited to visit them when the time comes.

I watched the new Wallace and Gromit film yesterday. Much better than expected when something return after a long time. And loved the little jokes. TV presenter called ‘Anton Deck’!

Amused by some scissors I bought a few days ago. Strong plastic cable tie around them keeping them closed and secure before use. ‘What you need to get into those,’ I thought to myself ‘is some scissors. Oh, wait…’

What’s going on with this trend for stuff sprouting out the top of Christmas trees? Like they’ve grown a Beaker (Muppets) haircut? I’d never seen it until 2 weeks ago and now it’s everywhere I go!

Despite not being a regular cinema goer, in the space of two days I’ve seen Paddington in Peru and Conclave. Bit of a contrast! Paddington wasn’t that great compared to the previous ones but would recommend Conclave. Tense, interesting and well acted.

A YouTuber I like just described a video from 2004 as “looking like it was filmed on a potato” and it’s making me giggle. Those were the days!

I had a filling today and she was the best dentist I’ve had in years but it was an emergency appointment and she’s not my regular dentist and I want her baaaccckkkk. *cries*

Just been in a room for a few hours called The Cube for a work event, but it wasn’t a cube, it was rectangle shaped. So it was a cuboid. (Had to check, thanks Google.) It bothered me.

My sense of smell has returned, post-Covid! Hurrah!
I didn’t have that symptom the first time around and scared myself reading that it could take weeks, months or not at all. Thinking of anyone who’s suffered with this for a long time, it’s really disconcerting.

There was a hostel I stayed in a few times in my early 20s called Bluesky. I even chose it as the setting for a fanfic I started but never finished for a pairing I wrote prolifically at the time. So there’s that. Good omen?
