I think the new Netflix version of The Leopard surpasses the original Visconti adaptation. An Italian Gone With the Wind, a true epic, both films, chronicle a changing world and those caught up but powerless to resist. Sound familiar? A heartbreaking series, impeccable tip to bottom.
