guess im just in a kinda grateful mood today 💜
It's not thanksgiving, and I don't even celebrate thanksgiving, but I just felt like giving thanks today... So I give thanks for the years I got to spend with dad, I give thanks for being able to eat my mum's delicious loveful food, I give thanks for the beautiful birds I saw on a walk yesterday, that flash of brilliant yellow and that delicate and lovely green... I give thanks for the awesome rain we had yesterday and the beautiful fragrance from night-blooms when I step outside, I give thanks for having aircon and a roof over my head, for safety and comfort, for good music and cool winds, for the birdsong in the mornings and the bougainvillea boulevards in the park, for all the pretty butterflies fluttering over our neighbour's pea vines and ofcourse for our dog who is an exceptionally gorgeous and intelligent good boi <3

also the EU has apparently put out a statement:
The European Union (EU) and its 27 Member States unequivocally condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April and the murder of innocent civilians. Terrorism can never be justified. Those responsible for the attack must be brought to justice. Every state has the duty and the right lawfully to protect its citizens from acts of terror. The EU is monitoring closely and with great concern the growing tensions in the region and the ensuing consequences, including the possible loss of more lives. The EU calls on both parties to exercise restraint, to de-escalate tensions and desist from further attacks to safeguard civilian lives on both sides. The EU urges both sides to engage in dialogue. It is vital that India and Pakistan also live up to their obligations under international law and take all measures possible to protect civilian lives. The EU will work with all parties to de-escalate the situation.

im not saying none of these claims are true, but currently none can be confirmed, so we are better off waiting for official statements from the govts of pak n ind or other reputable news agencies...

Terror tirades in torrential taunts, Horror follows in its usual haunts; I scrub and scrub his words away Those deeds and diatribe still stay - A stain. Sanity splinters in subtle shards, "Your fault" slips by my mental wards; Should I now take this chance and flee? But was he right? Doubt drives me Insane.
