Busting our asses all our lives to earn money that these shit-for-brains waste on complete bullshit. Infuriating. How much farther would we have progressed as a society if we weren’t constantly cleaning up these idiots’ mess?

And it convinces the know-nothings that they can sound smart without actually having to learn, because they can’t tell the difference between a correct answer and a wrong one.

Imagine sending kids to a school where everything they learn is hallucinated nonsense. That’s where we’re headed.

“Knowledge fraud” Great phrase for a concept I see in action, but haven’t been able to articulate.

That might be worth looking into, seeing as they violated your contract by not paying you. Might be time to lawyer up and demand a reversion of rights.

The problem is, even if he folds, that will just reinforce the fact that Trump is inherently unstable and unreliable. You can't build an economy around someone who might wake up one morning and blow the whole thing up on a whim. And that's exactly what this is--a whim.

It’ll be interesting to see what MAGA thinks, when they claimed that their economic position was untenable under Biden, even as he took measures to reduce inflation and forgive student debt. How are they going to feel when Trump takes their paychecks and jacks up prices just for lulz?

I’m assuming the position is in either NYC or the Bay Area.

Ten bucks says it pays $18 an hour too.

Record turnout for the other side.

Well, then I’m sure you’ll be pleased when hundreds of millions or billions of people die from unmitigated climate change and the ensuing global unrest. Thank goodness you supported the really GOOD genocide instead of just the lame Democratic one, right?

Because they knew she couldn’t win.

I like how he can end a war before he’s even elected, but he can’t come up with a healthcare plan.

One pound hole cake, coming right up.

10-15% at the time, but this was in 2018 before the housing market got all crazy. They probably sold it fast and made a couple tens of thousands of dollars off the whole deal. Not exactly "retire off the interest" money! More like "semester of college tuition" money.

If you sell a house and don't buy another one, you pay taxes on the difference left after paying the balance of the mortgage, because it's treated as capital gains.

"Waltz" with a very soft tz.

And to think, he didn't even need to make a Fox miniseries about tanning one's ballsack.

Well...sort of. The MN GOP is famously bankrupt. I don't know how much the national party contributed to Jensen's campaign, but the state party has been broke for years:

Walz did NOT run against a normal Republican! Dude was an anti-vax doctor who claimed that ivermectin cured COVID, and his running mate was a fucking former NFL player. Now, to be fair, Mastriano was especially nuts...but Jensen was not exactly Mr. Ordinary.
