And then books 3, 4, 5, and 6; all of which are finished. Everything's written. Just the I's need crossed and the T's dotted. The covers are mostly done. It's just a matter of fine tuning. I'd hoped to have all six books out by Christmas of 2025. It's a tall order. It might still happen though.

What I'd hoped would be plenty of time to work on the next book didn't happen lol. So here I sit, half way through it. Neurotic behavior battling against getting this book out there. It'll happen. This year. It's really just a matter of hitting "publish" after checking over things. And then... 4/

And then I went home. You go back to work, but the mind wanders. I did finally put out the first novel later that year. But six months after going home, I was back in Kentucky making sure my father was okay, this time for a long trip. And then six months later, Dad came to visit for a month.

This was all in the midst of a blizzard. All the snow and ice forced us to extend the trip "luckily". I wont get into the chaos of everything; after a few weeks Mom was released home. The day we were flying out she passed. It was a long trip of many extensions-good and bad-bitter sweet good-bye 3/

I was just getting ready to publish my debut novel. Instead I flew to Kentucky. Mom was sick in the hospital. You just never know. She'd fought liver disease for years and done amazingly well, but she caught covid before Christmas and took a fast turn for the worse. 2/
