I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.

Honestly, a bad choice by the new mayor. Tourism at the zoo is always high. Parents also use the zoo as a playground. If you're a community member and you're not willing to help sustain zoos and museums and use them for free, you're part of the problem.

Feeling drained today. Started editing chapter 4 of book 3. (I call this my problem child book because I've gone back into it so many times.) At least its a short week for the kiddos. It's not even noon and I'm ready to go back to bed.

I had ordered book 1's proof while I was in the "lower 48" earlier this year. Just ordered book 2's author proof today. I'm used to the cost difference on the 'Zon, BUT is it really going to take that much longer to send? Is it though? There are choke location they can print from on the west coast.

Shadow day at my daughter's school. English teacher spent 45 minutes grilling on the symbolism of a chocolate mocha birthday cake in a story. 45 minutes. It became very long and drawn out, contrived explanation. I wanted to scream sometimes a blue curtain is just a blue curtain.
