In A MOMENT AFTER DARK, it's 1941 & Addie's gift of sight shows her Pearl Harbor. I listened to radio reports from Dec 7. Hearing the fear & uncertainty in the reporters' voices is chilling.

If I (Beryl) wrote the story, I'd fix it so I'd have access to coffee 24-7. REAL coffee, not that synthetic slop the author chose to torture me with in a future world where coffee's in short supply.

Wouldn't change anything else, though - it was a journey I had to take.
