I hadn’t been on the platform formally known as Twitter in years, mainly because I didn’t use it that much & forgot the password & then it got bought/ruined…So last night I finally took the time to go through making a new password to log back in & once I was in, I deactivated my account. Felt good.

Movement is one of my favorite words, for so many reasons.

Not insanity. Racism. White supremacy. Re-segregation. Eugenics. Exclusion. Hating Black people.

Call it what it is. Stop giving these fools cover by calling it insanity.

It will save you time and mental energy if you understand that a lot of white people don’t believe anything is racism unless the person doing it is wearing a shirt that says, “I am doing this for a racism.” Plausible deniability is a social survival tool for them in a way it has never been for us.

Take that twenty minutes back from doom scrolling and call a friend. Bring joy to someone else’s day because we all need daily joy to keep going.

It actually is very important that you do things that you take pleasure in, regularly. That is part of how you survive the things that feel like they are going to destroy you.
