There's a ton to love in the genre depending on your tastes. If you're into the robots being more superheroic, any of the Brave series are good (and Takara-Tomy does the mechanical designs, so you get Transformers-looking stuff). J-Decker, MightGaine, and GaoGaiGar are the well known ones.
